Marijuana and Peppermint
Marijuana is primarily smoked for a recreational purpose, where one inhales the burning plant matter for its psychoactive properties. The cannabinoids in cannabis enter the bloodstream of the individual and stimulate cannabinoid receptors in the brain. The result in a feeling of being high.
Peppermint is primarily smoked for its pleasant taste and soothing effects on the throat and lungs. The menthol in peppermint causes this feeling, and results in an uplifting but relaxing state of being. It has also been said to ease the 'pasties' that result from smoking marijuana.

1. Get your weed and grind it up. Usually a regular sized joint will contain around 0.6 of a gram. |
2. Make a filter for the end of the joint by rolling up a strip of paper. It helps to keep the joint together and gives you something to hold. |
3. Spread out the weed on a rolling paper as evenly as possible, and place the filter at the end. This is the right-handed method, if you're left-handed place the filter on the other side. |
| 4. Fold the paper like so and start rolling it up and down to get the right shape and density of the weed. If it's too loose, the paper will burn and weed will fall out. If it's too tight, you won't be able to inhale on the joint. Practice makes perfect. |
| 5. Tuck in one end of the paper at the filter end. The joint will start taking on a cone shape. |
6. Continue by tucking in the rest of the paper and roll it up, making sure to keep it tight. |
7. Moisten the sticky strip by licking it and roll the joint up, from the wider end first. |
8. Twist off the end and you're done. To light it, burn the end of the joint first and then place it to your lips and inhale. If you attempt to light it like a cigarette, by lighting and pulling on the joint at the same time, you risk lighting it on fire and burning the paper, causing the weed to fall out. |
