The
Nothing Theory
The Nothing Theory
Nothing is something. You know why? Because nothing can't be nothing as
it always has to be something that nothing is something is something is not
nothing. Nothing is still something even though it is nothing. You never
really realize that nothing is still something, do you? But wait, if nothing
is something, now could something be nothing? Indeed, something is exactly
nothing because it is not something. Think of nothing, you are thinking of
something. Think of something, and you indefinitely thinking of nothing. And
something can be anything... so what, is everything nothing? And if
everything is nothing, then nothing, is Everything.

The
Lighter Theory
The Lighter Theory
The Lighter Theory is no more of a philosophical theory rather than a real
life phenomenon. Some stoner's have observed the lighter theory in action, when
they were smoking marijuana. The lighter theory describes many stoner's
subconscious drive for protection of fellow stoner's property. When smoking
marijuana, usually with a pipe, the pipe is passed around a circle. The lighter
may sometimes also be passed around. However, when the bowl is fully lit, the
lighter is usually not needed anymore. This is where the lighter theory comes
in. Without thinking about it, the stoner last holding the lighter seems to very
often pocket the lighter without realizing it, after it is no longer needed. This is not to steal the
lighter, for stoners smoking together are all friends, but rather to protect the
lighter from loss. The stoner has every intent to return the lighter, after the
session or later that day, or even within a few days if all the stoners are too
stoned to remember where the lighter went. But wherever it goes, it is safe.
The lighter theory also applies to borrowing someone's lighter, when lighting
a joint. A stoner tends to put the lighter in his or her own pocket, because
they become temporarily engaged in smoking marijuana. Then, after the session,
and usually with reminding, the stoner will return the lighter.
Next time you smoke with some friends, notice the lighter theory in action.

Body and Mind
Body and Mind
Your body and mind are connected, while they are two different entities. Your
physical self is contained in your body, yet your mental energy reaches out to
the universe in which you reside, the universe that resides in your imagination.
You are a person, always a person, but sometimes a different person, as your
person changes as your surroundings change. Depending on the song you hear, or
the people you see, or the time or place you are in, you are a different person.
All of these identities together make up who you are, your body and mind. Your
mind, the root of your being, is the electrochemical reactions that take place
in your brain. This is who you are, but this sense of being and existence
stretches out into your body, throughout your body, and into the universe around
you. Your mind, your being, your soul will once day break free of its physical
prison. At the same time, your body and mind will both become part of and one
with the universe around you. The universe that which you reside in, that
resides within you.
Abolishing the Light Bulb
Abolishing the Light Bulb
The greatest invention in the world: the light bulb. It sheds light into
the darkest places, and enables us to make more out of every day and night.
It helps us see, helps us move from one place to another, and helps us
accomplish more. But is this as good as it seems? No. Humanity should
abolish the light bulb. The day is for working, and the night is for
sleeping. We should not try to change the natural cycle of the world with
artificial light. When the sun is up, we work. On a rainy day, we slow down,
perhaps stay inside and work. When the sun goes down, we sleep, rest, heal,
and rejuvenate. During the summer, we have long days. More time to work,
more time to harvest, more time to live, just like it always was. When
winter comes, we have shorter days. Less time to work, so we eat what we
saved during the summer. Instead, we sleep, perhaps hibernate. We rest and
heal during the winter, awaiting the summer when we can work and play again.
The perfect balance. Abolishing the light bulb.
The Wave Theory
The Wave Theory
Life is always in a balance. The yin and the yang, the male and the female,
the day and the night. Life's occurrences are also in balance. What goes up,
must come down. In this way, every suffering is followed by a happiness, and
every joy is followed by an equal depression. This applies to all material and
even immaterial objects or experiences, such as with a drug. Every high is
fallowed by a burnout, or a low. Every excitement is followed by boredom.
This is where the wave theory comes in. Time is a flat horizontal line. You
are moving on that horizontal line. Now when you become happy, you rise above
that line. When you become sad, you fall below that line. When you get high, you
rise above the line. When you burn out, you once again fall below the line of
time. Like an electromagnetic wave of light, if we disregard the peaks and the
lows, you have a flat line.
Humans, due to our complex central nervous systems, can experience higher
high's than other creatures. But we also inevitable experience lower lows as
well. Simple, barely sentient being, do not rise high above the line of time,
but they also never fall far below it either. At the end of the day, when the
highs and the lows cancel each other out, every single being is on the same spot
on the line of time.
Life as a Circle
Life as a Circle
Life has no beginning, and it has no end. Life is, inevitably, a circle.
Why? Well no one person, group of people, society, civilization, or even
religious dogma can be responsible for deciding where life begins or ends.
Some people say it begins from the moment of conception, that this is a
life. But merely a group of cells cannot breathe, or make decisions. Or the
moment of birth, when a child is still too young to sustain itself and
survive. Or before conception, when the individual cells from the mother and
father could still potentially join and develop, while they undergo cellular
mitosis for the future. And then there is death. A being in a coma, is still
breathing and living, is no longer capable to reproduce, but still may
awake. Or the being on life support, which can move, think, and communicate
but would not survive in the outside world, as it relies on synthetic
machines. Or the being that dies, stops breathing, stops thinking, and then
miraculously awakes into a fully healthy state, virtually being risen from
the dead. So life cannot begin, as it can not end. It simply must travel in
a circle, with no beginning or end. Life, energy, passing through one being,
and then into another, in a circle, the circle of life.
Altered States
Altered States
What is an altered mind or state? Is it you're normal state when you are
awake or when your tired? Is it when you're hungry, on when you're full? Is is
when you crave sugar, or when you feel sick from it? Is it the caffeine,
nicotine or THC in your veins, or when you abstain from these recreational
drugs. The same goes for someone with schizophrenia, they merely have a
different brain chemistry than someone without it. So they are essentially
trapped in an altered state, and prescription drugs bring them back to what we
see as "normal". When you smoke weed you become more thought provoked,
social and you enter a very creative world. Could this just be a normal state of
mind? Could evolution have happened a different way? Oxygen is what keeps us, so
to speak "high" in our everyday state of mind but could pot just be putting you
back to normal? What does being sober definitively mean? Couldn't we be high on
oxygen right now. In conclusion, altered states of mind are a good venture to
partake in. An altered state of mind is not a "worse" or "better" state of mind,
it is merely different. It gives you new insight and enlightenment into how the
universe could function.

Mortals
Mortals
Oh you poor insignificant little mortals, not knowing weather or not the
decisions you make today will affect your future. How could you? You do not
know weather the decisions you make are good or bad, because the effects and
outcomes of your decisions today could make the future better or worse for
you. You will not know if the decision you made was good or bad until the
day your short and trivial life ends, then you can see weather or not you
should have made the decision you did. Or, how about the notion that your
free will is only an illusion, for you reside in three spatial dimensions
and a fourth time dimension limiting those other three, yet I dwell in a
higher dimension, with your four laid out in front of me. So you ask, what
of this? I will tell you that within your four dimensions it seems as if you
have free will, and in fact you do, but I see the past, present, and future
as one, anticipating your every move. Haha, past and future, only silly
illusions that you mortals have created to comfort yourself, and fantasize
about the idea of moving forward thought your pitiable lives. They only
exist in the present, do they not? And you think that you "travel" though
time, yet I am above time. I can both see the past, present and future. But
if you were to see what I have access to, it would ultimately affect your
entity and the world you came from would cease to exist. Poor humans...
barely sentient in comparison to the true reality I perceive.
421
421
Until now, "4:20" was the time to smoke, and April 20th was the day to smoke.
But not anymore. For in reality, 4:20 is a minute, from 4:20:00 up until
4:20:59. And the day 420, April 20th, lasts from midnight on 419 up until
midnight on 420, when 421 begins. So continue smoking at 4:20, but remember, is
doesn't end until 421. So don't smoke at 420, smoke for 420, until 421.
Reality
Reality
Ever wonder where dreams come from, and where they go so quickly? One
theory is that dreams come to us from a past life, different life, or
parallel life. Then we try to hold on to them but they usually vanish too
quickly, as they are usually only in the instantly conscious part of the
brain, and rarely reach the memory section of the brain. Same goes for
random, sometimes ingenious ideas that seem to come out of no where, as if
they floated through the cosmos and our mind somehow absorbed them.
Information, ideas, and possibilities are floating all around us, all we
have to do is trap them before they pass by or get away. Where do thoughts
come from anyway? How, having no prior encounter with the certain idea, do
we come with it? How can our imagination create something without any
external influence. Similar to the atom, the most fundamental structure that
our universe is made of, for they appear to vanish and then re-appear
instantaneously, and who knows where they go. For example, when you are
dreaming you do not know that you are in the dram until you wake up. Thus
what you perceive to be reality, could vary likely be illusion. Another
example is when your eyes play tricks on you, when you double take
something, when you see something that is not really there. If you see an
object with your eyes, certain parts of your brain become activated. Now if
you imagine that same object, the same parts of your brain activate. This
shows that the brain itself cannot distinguish reality from imagination,
which further leads to the question, do the eyes see or does the brain see.
Your eyes are just lenses and your brain process the information, but the
brain can also create the same information. This finally leads to the
question, what is reality?
Creativity and the Universe
Creativity and the Universe
We are all conditioned to be logical, left-brained thinkers. Whether you like
it or not, general society values mathematicians and scientists more than
painters and musicians. For economy to keep prospering and more money to be made
we need new technology, so the world leaders are racing to get there first. The
system is squeezing our youth through cookie-cutters to make us all the same.
English, science, and math courses are mandatory in middle school and high
school, and creativity/thought expression is being suppressed or forgotten more
and more. Everything has to be done one way, and that is the only way that is
allowed. Even art has a “proper” technique, and drama a “correct” process. The
majority of us humans use the right hand to write, which is indeed controlled by
the left hemisphere of the brain. This may have been coincidence, or it could
explain why we evolved the way we did. Since the beginning of evolution, our
ancestors valued logic over creativity. The interesting this is that we probably
did this as a necessary precaution to survive. Logic helped the human species
survive this long, for creativity seems to be less useful to survive. Running
from a predator or assessing risks is vital to survival, but creative thought is
not, unless you want to bring survival to a new level. We are born with both
logic and creative, left and right hemispheres, so we might as well use them. I
believe marijuana helps unlock and activate the creative, right side of the
brain, and this should be no surprise.
Marijuana was extremely popular among the Jazz musicians and artists of the
30’s. Bob Marley and many other musicians and artists claimed that marijuana
increases the consumer’s awareness of visuals and sounds. Everyone from Neil
Young to Winston Churchill has indulged once or twice. Slowing down, relaxing,
and creative insight are just a few of the positive effects of marijuana that
are enjoyed by many smokers.
While marijuana actives the right hemisphere, the left hemisphere seems to go
dormant. This is essential to understand when determining it is the right time
to consume marijuana or not. For example, smoking before pondering about
philosophy or dancing could be an excellent idea, while smoking before a math
test or complicated task which has to be done a precise way would probably not
be. For a math test, you need to understand and know the math that is required,
which was laid out by a professor. There is no other way around this, except the
right way. You mind would wander off thinking about new possibilities. However,
if you have time to spare and perhaps want to create a new way of understanding
the math, or want to change your perspective, go ahead. Decide whether the task
requires logic or creativity, then decide if marijuana will help or obscure. To
conclude, an explanation of the universe cannot be final if it disregards other
forms of consciousness. We can survive without marijuana, but we wont understand
why we are surviving, why we are here, and what the fuck is going on.

Happiness
Happiness
The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the
past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less
resolved than it will be. Thousands of candles can be lit from a single
candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never
decreases by being shared. You just have to do your own thing, no matter
what anyone says. It's your life. There is only one happiness in this life,
to love and be loved. Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your
hands, but let it go, and you learn at once how big and precious it is.
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've
decided to look beyond the imperfections. Happiness is the meaning and the
purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.

Respect
Respected for the herb
Now days, people blaze
marijuana with respect... more or less anyway. There are certain things you
do, certain things you don't do. People share marijuana, with a group of
other friends, and the good deed is eventually repaid. The herb is planted,
grown, cared for, watered, given food, and light, until harvest, when it is
dried, cured, and sold, then picked apart, rolled, lit, and smoked. Every
little bit, down to the end of the roach, is saved and smoked. Other
materials were once treated with respect too, along with them technology,
money, food, and water. We might be some of the last people to treat
marijuana with such respect. As the years keep coming, it will one day
become legal. Let's hope we keep this respect for it, and develop a respect
for everything else at the same time.
